Please consider arriving 10-15 minutes early to allow time for the extra precautions detailed below. Service durations will be right at 60-65 minutes in length, in order to manage and clean/disinfect between services.
We are asking that each person come with a mask. We would ask that you wear the mask when you enter or exit, as you will be closer than 6’ to others. Once seated in the worship center and properly socially distanced, you may remove the mask if you choose so. You may also wear the mask the entire service if you so desire.
No Touch Request
We are asking everyone to not shake hands or give hugs. While you may be comfortable with that level of contact, there are others who are not. So we will be respecting the social distancing as we start up again. For those unable to come or not yet ready to gather in a larger group setting, our online services will be continuing each Sunday at 11:00AM.
Greeters — Temperature Taking
We will be actively welcoming/greeting everyone, as we always have. However, rather than making physical contact (like a hand shake), the greeter(s) at the door will be welcoming you and taking your temperature with a no touch thermometer. If you have a temperature of 100.4 or higher we will not be permitted to allow you in the building. We love you and are looking to make sure we are as safe as we can.
Kids & Childcare
FUSE Kids (first grade - sixth grade) is closed on Saturday and open during both services on Sunday. Please have your child wear a mask until they are checked in. All 3 KidsQuest classes (nursery, toddlers, preschool) are closed indefinitely. We have plans to have an ‘open nursery’ without workers soon. This space will be available for nursing moms and/or crying children.
We will not be handing out bulletins and Connect Cards and will no longer pass offering buckets. This will limit the amount of contact that may spread the COVID-19 virus. You will simply text the word GUEST (first-time guest) or HERE (returning guests and members) to 309-316-7888 to sign-in once arriving. The offering will be collected virtually or you can use the lockboxes in the lobby.
Spacing in the Worship Center
We are only using every other row in the sanctuary. Each family will sit side by side. We are asking that you keep 2 chairs between (left or right) you and someone not from your immediate family.
We have hand sanitizer dispensers in various locations around the lobby. Feel free to use the sanitizer as you enter and/or as you leave, as you feel needed.
While our bathroom remodel is not complete, we will have restrooms open and available. Feel free to use as needed, but please be aware of trying to respect social distancing.
The Café will only be partially open when volunteers are available. When open, we only be able to serve coffee, water (bottles), and soda (cans).
Exit After Service
Please remain seated until the emcee releases you. We also ask that you move out of the sanctuary and head through the lobby and outdoors rather quickly. This will help limit social distancing while indoors. It will also allow us to begin cleaning the worship center and lobby before the next service. Once outdoors, feel free to interact with other families before departing.
