What happens when following Jesus puts you at odds with the culture around you?
We live in a world where truth is constantly being redefined, political division is growing, human life is debated, and people are increasingly encouraged to simply do whatever feels right in their own eyes.
But followers of Jesus are called to something different.

Following Jesus won’t always be culturally comfortable. Sometimes obedience means standing against the current while still loving the people around us.

✅ Lawlessness Cannot Be Our Compass — Scripture warns about a culture where everyone does what seems right in their own eyes. Jesus calls us to a different allegiance. (Judges 21:25; Matthew 24:12)
✅ Our Ultimate Allegiance Is to Jesus — Our hope is not found in political power, a party, a candidate, or cultural influence. Like Joshua, we must decide: “As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)
🔥 CULTURAL CHRISTIANITY ISN’T ENOUGH.
Jesus calls us to become biblical Christians—people who love truth, protect life, show compassion, pursue justice, forgive enemies, reject gossip, refuse deception, care for the vulnerable, and remain faithful when obedience becomes uncomfortable.
We don’t need to hate people who disagree with us.
We don’t need to compromise truth to love them either.
Jesus said:

The question is not simply, “What does culture say?”
The question is:
What did Jesus say—and am I willing to follow Him?
