Is speaking in tongues the evidence that someone is filled with the Holy Spirit?

The Bible clearly shows that tongues can be an evidence of the Holy Spirit’s activity—but it is not the only evidence. Throughout Scripture, the Spirit’s presence is revealed through tongues, prophecy, boldness, spiritual gifts, and ultimately through transformed lives that produce the fruit of the Spirit.

✅ A Prayer Language Is a Gift, Not a Performance – We do not manufacture tongues, copy someone else, or force an experience. We simply ask, trust God, and respond in faith as the Holy Spirit leads.

Speaking in tongues does not make you more saved.

It does not make you more loved.

It does not make you more spiritual than someone else.

The goal is not chasing a manifestation.

The goal is Jesus.

The goal is becoming more like Him.

The goal is living surrendered to the Holy Spirit and saying:

“Holy Spirit, I want everything You have for me—and I want You to have all of me.”
