🎁 Spiritual Gifts | Week 3 — Grace Gifts: Unwrap and Use Them

Jul 12, 2026    Chuck Tate

Every believer has received a spiritual gift—but gifts were never meant to stay wrapped.

In Week 3 of our Spiritual Gifts series, Pastor Chuck Tate returns to Romans 12 to complete the seven Grace Gifts: prophecy, serving, teaching, encouragement, giving, leadership, and mercy.

God’s grace looks different on everyone. Some people strengthen others through encouragement. Some build the Kingdom through generosity. Some bring order through leadership. Others move toward hurting people with mercy and compassion.

Different gifts. Same Spirit.

Different assignments. Same mission.

💡 Key Takeaways:

✅ Every believer has received at least one spiritual gift.

✅ Spiritual gifts are given by grace, not earned through performance.

✅ Encouragers build people up and remind them God isn’t finished.

✅ Givers joyfully use their resources to advance God’s Kingdom.

✅ Leaders bring order, steward people well, and help others succeed.

✅ People with the gift of mercy move toward pain instead of walking past it.

✅ Every spiritual gift must operate through genuine love and humility.

🙌 BOTTOM LINE:

The greatest tragedy isn’t that you haven’t discovered your spiritual gift yet.

It’s knowing your gift—and refusing to use it.

Work gloves weren’t made to be framed and admired.

They were made to get dirty.

In the same way, your spiritual gift was given to be unwrapped, activated, and used to build the Church and serve others.
