π₯ Empowered | Week 4 β Sent π₯
Why does the Holy Spirit fill us, form us, and gift us?
Jesus answered that question in Acts 1:8: "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses..."
The Holy Spirit was never given simply for our benefit. He was given for God's mission.
In the final message of our Empowered series, we discover that every believer has been sent. The same Spirit who empowered the early church empowers us today to live boldly, share our faith, and make an impact wherever God has placed us.
Boldness doesn't mean the absence of fear. It means obedience in the middle of fear.
Peter denied Jesus, hid in fear, and struggled with failure. Yet after being filled with the Holy Spirit, he boldly proclaimed Christ and helped launch the early church. What changed? The Holy Spirit.
In this message:
π The Holy Spirit gives power for purpose
π Boldness is obedience despite fear
π God uses ordinary people to accomplish extraordinary things
π The Spirit develops us over time
π Every believer has been sent into the world with the Gospel
You don't have to be a pastor, preacher, or Bible expert to be a witness. You simply share what Jesus has done in your life and trust the Holy Spirit to do the rest.
The question isn't, "Am I called?"
The question is, "Where has God sent me?"
